In this first chapter we focus on the life of Emil Sinclair who is surrounded by his family which is religious and until that day Emil had followed to the letter everything that his family did and said daily, in this environment Emil does not have to do much because his family gave him everything he needed,   But there are events in his life that make him question whether what he is doing is right, and he begins to doubt and this leads to a discovery of the world of good and evil.
