By this time Emil finds himself in a situation that makes him look for his friend Max, although he was on a trip he manages to find him, they talk and Max invites him to his house where Emil meets Eva who is very familiar to him and considers her as a second mother.

For the last chapter Emil and Max meet at the front of the war in which Emil is seriously injured due to an explosion it is at this moment that Demian tells him that he must leave and if he needs him look for him with his energy and spirit, the next day that Max wakes up he is nowhere to be found, Just another wounded man who is a complete stranger.
